Privacy Policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how WorkWallet ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the WorkWallet website and app (the "Service").
2. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email, phone number, business name, industry and the answers you give during sign-up.
Financial information: account balances, transactions, invoices, bills, vendors and customers that you enter, import by CSV, or that come from services you connect, such as QuickBooks Online or your bank through Stripe.
Payment information: your card is collected and stored by our payment processor Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type, pages viewed and log data, used to keep the Service working and secure.
3. How we use information
We use your information to provide the Service (for example, to calculate Safe to Spend, forecasts and recommendations), to send account emails such as receipts, low-cash alerts and weekly briefings, to provide support, to keep the Service secure, and to improve it. We do not sell your personal information.
4. QuickBooks and bank data
When you connect QuickBooks Online or a bank account, we access that data in read-only form and only to provide the Service to you. We never move money, never change your QuickBooks records, and never store your bank login. Connection tokens are encrypted. You can disconnect at any time from the Integrations page, and we stop syncing immediately.
5. Cookies and advertising
We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings.
With your permission, we also use advertising cookies from Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics) and Meta (the Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram). They tell us which ads bring people to WorkWallet and when someone signs up or pays, so we can measure and improve our ads. These partners may use this information under their own privacy policies. We do not share your financial data with them.
Advertising cookies stay off unless you click Accept on our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie choices" button below.
6. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that protect it: hosting and database providers, Stripe (payments and bank connections), Intuit (QuickBooks), our email provider for account emails, and AI providers that power the assistant when you use it.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted storage of connection tokens, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
9. Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account information in Settings, turn off optional emails, and disconnect integrations at any time. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing WorkWalletadmin@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
10. Children
The Service is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
